  Volunteer Work 

Miami Bethany Community Services is looking for dedicated volunteers to help out with our after-school program, Bethany BEST (Better Educated Students for Tomorrow). High School and college/university students are welcome to join us as we serve the at-high, underprivileged children of Miami with a safe place to grow and develop during the after school hours.

  Volunteer Job Description 

As an after school volunteer, you will work with students kindergarten to 8th grade helping them complete their school assigments. You would be expected to help with general supervision of the children as well by recognizing, addressing, and recording student behavioral problems; maintaining group discipline and/or demonstrating physical activities. You will have the opportunity to establish a relationship with the students you work with, and really have a positive impact in their lives.
